Evangelism is not a technique to be mastered but the natural overflow of a people found by a God who goes looking — thirty chapters tracing the mission of God from its biblical foundation to the ends of the earth.
Mission begins with God, not with the church. Part One establishes that theological foundation; Part Two turns to the gospel every act of mission exists to proclaim; Part Three considers the church as a sent and witnessing people — testimony, hospitality, service, and a skeptical age; Part Four widens the lens to the nations.
Each of the thirty chapters is anchored in Scripture — Old Testament and New — read closely, in the original languages where that illumines the text, in the conviction that the whole Bible tells a single missionary story.
Written not by one who has mastered this calling but by one still learning it — still, on many days, more Jonah than Isaiah — with the hope that readers fall in love again with the God who sends, and discover they already are what every believer has always been: sent.
